We kept discovering places — in videos, in conversations, in photos that show up late at night — and every time, we thought we’d remember them. We didn’t.
We wanted a simple app you could use to keep the places you care about, plan future trips, and build your own map of the world — without turning it into a public feed, a social network, or a data product.
Result: My Traveler Map. A personal, editable, always-there list of places — for next month, next year, or “retirement trip mode.”

What is My Traveler Map?
My Traveler Map is a private place to save, organize, and revisit the places you want to go — whether you’re planning a trip, dreaming about one, or already traveling.
How much does the app cost?
The app is available at an introductory price of $15 USD (or the equivalent in your local currency).
Pricing may change in the future, and some new features may be offered as optional in-app purchases. As more people use and support the app, it becomes easier to keep pricing fair and accessible.
How can I support the app?
The best way to support My Traveler Map is to use it, share it, and tell others about it.
If Apple allows it, optional in-app donations may be added in the future. Larger sponsorships or partnerships may also support the development of new features or unlock improvements for everyone.
Which devices are supported?
My Traveler Map works on iPhone, iPad, and macOS on Apple Silicon computers.
The iPad offers a larger, more comfortable experience for planning and organizing places, while the iPhone works best when you’re on the trip and moving around.
What operating system version is required?
The app requires iOS 26, iPadOS 26, or macOS 26 (Apple Silicon).
Is the app available in other languages?
The app is currently available in English. Spanish is planned next, with additional languages added depending on where the app is being used and supported.

When will new features like sharing be available?
New features depend entirely on the level of support the app receives.
Sharing is planned in stages — starting with simple sharing, and potentially evolving into shared lists later. Development priorities are shaped by real usage and feedback.
Will the app use AI or assistants?
We plan to experiment with optional AI-assisted features that could help with search, discovery, or adding contextual information from third parties.
Privacy always comes first. If a feature relies on external services that store or process data (for example, AI providers that retain conversations), this will be clearly disclosed so you can make an informed choice.
Who is behind My Traveler Map?
My Traveler Map is built by Life View Innovations LLC, a software development and IT consulting company.
The app is currently developed by a single independent developer (the owner), with occasional help from part-time collaborators. Feedback, suggestions, and shared experiences play a meaningful role in shaping its future.

These are current priorities, not promises. Plans can change based on feedback, technical constraints, and the features we need for our next trip.
Sharing
Share a single place using iOS Share Sheet — Messages, Mail, social apps, and more. Shared places are designed to be readable by other users and easy to add into their own My Traveler Map.
Plans & lists
Create subgroups inside My Places — like “Toulouse weekend” or “Japan 2027” — and share them as a list. Later, this may evolve into building a list together.
AI (optional, pay per use)
Experiment with different models to help you plan and search more effectively. If AI is offered, it will be optional and credit-based (pay per use).
If a feature relies on a third-party AI service that may retain requests or conversations, this will be clearly disclosed before you use it.

More place details — priority, personal notes, and visit logs.
Voice dictation — adding notes by voice using Apple’s speech recognition (availability depends on supported languages).
More languages — Spanish next, then more depending on where the app is used.

One-time purchase
$15 USD (or the local equivalent), plus taxes where required. You’re buying this version as-is — like the old times.
How long the app remains available and functional depends on Apple and future technology changes. We use this app ourselves, and we intend to keep it up to date, even if no new features are added.
In-app purchases
Some future features may be offered as optional in-app purchases. Pricing depends on the amount of work required to build and maintain the feature.
Smaller improvements may be included in regular updates. Larger features may require a small additional charge.
Support & sponsorship
If you love the app and want to support ongoing development, you’ll be able to support or sponsor the project.
Supporters may be listed on this website by name (optional). No places will ever be highlighted based on your profile, your location, or anything that identifies you.
Ads may be added to the Search view in the future. If that happens, they will be generic by default. Personalized ads would only appear if you explicitly opt in.
Clear, honest, and necessary.
Data storage
My Traveler Map stores your saved places and related data locally on your device. If you enable iCloud, your data is synced using Apple’s iCloud services and associated with your Apple ID.
iCloud availability, reliability, and security are provided by Apple. You are responsible for enabling and managing iCloud backups.
Anonymous usage information
We may view aggregated, anonymous information such as total downloads to understand how the app is doing overall.
This information is not used to identify you personally.
Advertising (optional)
Ads may be added to the Search view in the future. If ads are shown, they will be generic by default and not based on your personal data.
Any personalized advertising or marketing based on your usage would require an explicit opt-in. This is not offered at the moment.
Maps, search, and imagery
Maps, place search, and Look Around imagery are powered by Apple Maps and MapKit. Search queries and map requests are handled by Apple’s services according to Apple’s terms and privacy policies.
My Traveler Map does not control the accuracy, completeness, or availability of Apple Maps data.
No guarantees
The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. There is no guarantee that place data is accurate, complete, up to date, safe, or suitable for any specific purpose.
My Traveler Map is not responsible for closures, pricing changes, reservation requirements, access restrictions, safety conditions, or outcomes related to visiting a place.
Data loss and availability
While care is taken to store your data reliably, no system is immune to failure. Data loss may occur due to device issues, software bugs, iCloud problems, or other unforeseen events.
You are responsible for maintaining backups and understanding the risks associated with digital storage.
Third-party terms
By using My Traveler Map, you also agree to the applicable Apple Maps, MapKit, and iCloud terms of service and privacy policies.

Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes must be brought in the courts located in the Bronx, New York, where the developer is legally based.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, My Traveler Map and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of the app.
If liability is found despite these limitations, total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the app, if any.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer of My Traveler Map from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the app, violation of these terms, or violation of applicable laws.
User responsibilities
You agree to use My Traveler Map only for lawful, personal purposes and in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
You may not misuse the app, attempt to reverse engineer it, interfere with its operation, or use it in a way that could cause harm or liability.
Service availability & changes
The app and its features may change, be limited, or be discontinued at any time, temporarily or permanently, without notice.
There is no guarantee of continued availability of any specific feature or service.
Termination
The developer reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the app at any time if required for technical, legal, or operational reasons.
Accounts & Apple services
My Traveler Map does not provide its own user accounts. If you use iCloud, your data is associated with your Apple ID and managed entirely by Apple’s systems.
The developer does not have access to your Apple ID, credentials, or iCloud account.
Age requirements
You must meet the minimum age required by your local laws and Apple’s terms to use this app.
Entire agreement
These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the developer regarding the use of My Traveler Map and supersede any prior understandings.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
